A hell of a battle

It was midnight, and most of the city streets were filled with people, cars and the noises associated with urban living. This street, however, was quiet and dark. Nearly all of the buildings were abandoned and crumbling, the streets deserted except for the rare gutted out car sitting on blocks.

The building in question had once been a warehouse, and stood strong on the street. It was enmity tonight, because clearly something was about to happen.

Debris was cleared from the large floor area, and a large circle drawn in white chalk covered more than half of the floor area. Other than that, the building seemed empty, as though it waited.
