Comment to this post and I will entrust you with five subjects I believe you uniquely qualified to discuss. Then post this in your LJ and tell me something I don't know about the subjects given.

1. Family - I had a couple of these actually. I think what I miss most is having people in one place that loved you no matter what. I only got to be with my birth parents for a short while because traveling messed with all our timelines. Sometimes I wonder if I missed out not having what I see most people have, but my experiences make me who I am, so no use trying to change that.

2. Games - Mancala is what you call it here, it's this game where you take all of the pebbles. Better explanation is you have a board with a line drawn down the middle, and circles drawn on each side. You get a handful of pebbles and put one on each circle on the board. You keep doing that until someone has all the pebbles in one spot on the board.

3. Home - I don't think I'm too qualified for that. Before here, I lived in a place called Africa- mostly. Usually I was in a place not in anytime or place. I learned symbols there... I learned the people and the history of them. I miss it, but at the same time, I like the flat I have now.

In the place I was usually, it was a great big rainforest with a desert right by it. Strange combination, but out in the desert we had a building, a temple really, with great walls made of earth and limed this beautiful white color. The walls were filled with symbols, the rooms with alters and always the rules. I was the only kid there and I grew up with a respect for all of them. My favorite thing was to run in the bush, climbing the tress that I could and dirtying up my uniform. They never could keep me in one place or time for too long.

4. Favorite food and why - I'm going to say rice. It's something I'm used to, jolloff rice in particular. It's cooked with seasonings and includes meat. It just something familiar. I can find it cooked almost the same anywhere. It's something to identify with, I reckon.

5. Fondest memories - My favorite is of my Mama singing to me. The Mama from Florida, who I still miss. She'd sing to me until I fell asleep, and I still remember the song. She'd stroke my hair and wait till I was dreaming nice things before she left.
