Are You a Physical Flirt?

The next friend I see gets a hug, I am not a cold person. I like being touched :/

Your Physical Flirt Level: 20%
You aren't a physical flirt. If anything, you tend to be a bit cold, physically.
There's a good chance that you don't enjoy touching people... or being touched.

And while there's nothing wrong with how you are, you may be sending people the wrong message.
So give a hug or pat on the back every now and then. Even if you aren't trying to flirt, it will make you seem friendlier.

It can only be as accurate as the number of variables it includes.

That quiz included ten, which should not have all been equally weighted.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know that all of them were flirting.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
The options were:

1) You will touch someone's arm or shoulder to make a point.
2) You like to sneak up behind people and put your hands over their eyes.
3) You will rest your head on someone's shoulder and act like you're tired.
4) You're big on giving hugs.
5) You like to sit on people's laps (or let them sit on your lap).

6) You like to wink at people.
7) You make prolonged eye contact with people.
8) You love to tickle.
9) You love to give (and get) back rubs.
10) You play with your hair or touch your face and mouth a lot.

I did not consider 1, 2 and 4 flirting. 10 is more body language than 'physical flirting'. That response is based on personal opinions, and I am not certain I want to gather the data in order to make a more accurate quiz.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
I've never seen an adult do 2. If 7 is flirting that means every public speaker is a tease.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
I estimate the age of the quiz maker to be between thirteen and seventeen.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
I think that's a good assumption.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure why I take them.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Boredom or curiosity after seeing someone else's results.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Someone on my list got 100%.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think I know anyone who would get 100%. Maybe some of the kids I know.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
I have several people in that age group on my list.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
Was it one of the children that had 100%?

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
I think he is in his twenties.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Sometimes college does that to people.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
There's no way to test out of college, is there?

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
College is a good experience.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not looking forward to reviewing things that I learned years ago and I disagree with some of the textbooks.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't use textbooks because I haven't found one I agree with. I've thought about writing my own.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that you should. I've considered writing one, but it would not be considered valid because I don't have any degrees.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
If you collaborated with an expert on the subject it would. Most text books have a writer as part of the staff.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
If I continue going to lectures, do you think I'll find someone willing to collaborate?

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you want to write your book on?

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Quantum Entanglement. I also want to write a correct history of the Americas, which would include Pre-Columbian trans-oceanic contact.

I'm somewhat ambitious, because I would like corrected histories of other parts of the world published too.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
I know a biologist who is working on trans-oceanic transposition of plants with man as the vector. I think some of her work is pre-Columbian.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Does she have any upcoming lectures?

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
I'd have to ask Dr. Sattler.

[identity profile] a-mind-flip.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
I think I would enjoy hearing her very much.

[identity profile] malcolmeffect.livejournal.com 2009-05-06 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
If I hear anything you'll be the first to know.
