It would be reasonable for all of these characters to get together under the circumstance of a house warming party. (Just a thought since Ian and Ja'nee will be returning to Texas and a new house.) That could reasonably get any of Ja'nee's friends and family in one place. Say meeting up to follow Ian to the new place in their cars or some such.


If anyone is curious Ian's carrying a .40 Taurus in a shoulder holster almost constantly. and it is mounted with a red dot grip laser sight.
