I had a VERY bad trip, everyone.  The Rift Raft crashed on a weird world, they fixed it and let me go on my way.  Might be a nice vacation spot?

No...  There's no reason to go back there.

Does anyone want to go on a trip with me?  Please?  I need to make a stop but we can go anywhere you want.

We'll leave whenever you're ready. There's nothing keeping me here.

I'm fine. They patched me up and fixed the rift raft. We're fine except for lack of beer and ice cream.

[He eyes Janie a bit more closely to make sure.] Those people knew how to fix your boat? That's remarkable ...

[She doesn't seem injured, but does look a little distant when Julian talks to her]

They're wonderful people... I'm glad they were able to fix it and help me. They patched up the outside of it.

Huh. You were really lucky then ... What a coincidence that they knew the tech of the boat well enough. What went wrong so that you did crash in the first place?

I don't remember... The boat started going out of control and I couldn't stop it. Then I crashed and landed on a beach. They were all very helpful.

That's odd. Has it done that before? Do you remember where you tried to go? Perhaps it's better to avoid that area. If there's some kind of ... vortex or whatever it may be called.

No, never like this.

I'm after clues for a treasure. They had the map there! Then they said I could go... I don't think that world is a threat or that there was a vortex. It seemed really nice.

You're looking for a treasure? [He can't help a little smile because it sounds so adventurous.]

So you wanted to go there. Hmm. Perhaps we should go back and find out what made the boat crash?

Yes... It's um. Yes. I thought it would be fun. It's the Key Of Time. That's got my name written all over it, doesn't it?

Sure. You'll love it... and we'll follow a clue for the treasure too, if you want to. I don't really want to go alone.

It does ... can't see how you wouldn't look for it.

Alright, yes, sure I want to. Sounds like an adventure. We'll just have to keep our eyes open so that it doesn't happen again. [He smiles, even though he remains a bit worried about the previous crash.]

Then it's obvious. This treasure hunt was made for me.

I don't think we'll crash again. I need to clean up a bit. There's tools everywhere, sorry. Tools and bits and pieces of projects. I got a little messy since I've had more time to myself.

Alright, I've got to pack some stuff too, and get some supplies. One shouldn't start an adventure without any. Just let me know when you're ready, and I'll be there.
