That's not how it happened at all. Doesn't anyone know their history? Extremist groups are formed because the governments aren't doing what the people want. They would find another leader, easily.

Yes, but ... People stopped naming their kids "Adolph" after World War II. Perfectly good name, it just made folks think of a creepy racist with a stupid-looking mustache.
