Writer's Block: If I had a hammer
[Error: unknown template qotd]
Before Ori, Mama Sarah expected me to follow in her footsteps, and to be a maid. I used to help her, and learned to hate washing and ironing, dish washing, polishing and most of all, being invisible. I hated it and promised myself that I'd do something else when I grew up... something like marrying a shop keeper or a rum runner.
I'm a military woman now, still nowhere near the dreams I had as a kid or young adult.
