Before Ori, Mama Sarah expected me to follow in her footsteps, and to be a maid. I used to help her, and learned to hate washing and ironing, dish washing, polishing and most of all, being invisible. I hated it and promised myself that I'd do something else when I grew up... something like marrying a shop keeper or a rum runner.
I'm a military woman now, still nowhere near the dreams I had as a kid or young adult.

Yes, I do. I'm not a fan of involving other people in my problems. Lynn knows this too, which is why we have the rule 'what happens in the house stays in the house'. No one really wants to hear endless talk about happiness, so I leave that out too. Advantages are, you remain somewhat inoffensive. Disadvantages are that you can't keep stuff bottled up for too long.
