No killing each other on my boat
Phoenix had been her friend since- well, since the days when she was an eighty year old running for her life. He was something more than family- someone who would always be close to her.
Xander had only been around since Los Angeles, which was a time she hadn't even told Phoenix about. Times, actually. It was where she messed up yet another timeline, and a place she went often when wanting a break from missions, jerky exes, monsters, and wankers of best friends. Recently, though, things got even stranger there. She'd met an older Lynn, who immediately spoiler ed her.
Now? She had her ten year old Lynn, but she'd also been conceived in January- and the older version of her still visited her at times. This made for one very confused Janie, and all she wanted was a stiff drink to clear her head. (Except she shouldn't be drinking if she was carrying Lynn).
And these two wanted to meet each other. Her best friend and her boyfriend... She wouldn't have been as nervous if she hadn't watched all seven seasons of Buffy recently.
Janie waited for them to show, thinking the absolute worst.
