A strangely refreshed Janie knocked on Xander's door three times, ready to go with him, and kill things.

It had been quite a while for her, but only eight hours for Xander since she'd trained him on the two weapons. The two of them could do anything if they were together, couldn't they?

She waited patiently, nodding politely to a neighbor.

Xander got tackled, and by the time they finished, had nearly forgotten that they were on their way to kill someone tonight.

She smiled at her boyfriend, not really wanting to go kill anyone. Whenever they were together she seemed to lose track of time.

"Again?"

Xander wondered if he should destroy walls more often.

"If you insist," he said, and they did.

"I could do this forever." She layed her head on his chest, happily.

"It may not be the best way to spend eternity, but ... I can't even say that with a straight face, of course it is."

"Is that what you want?" she smiled up at him "To be with me for the rest of your life?"

"Yes. Without any extended breaks of any kind. Just .. this. Lots and lots of this."

"When I return from my tour." she promised "We'll spend every day and night together."

"Good," Xander said. "And when will that be?"

"No more than thirty days, most likely less." Janie was quiet for a moment "I'll cheat as much as I can, and make it as short as possible"

"And then we'll ... umm ... fix the wall and get on with our lives."

"What... what are our lives going to be like?" She asked "The wall is repaired."

Which it was, and the clock was also turned back several hours, to when she first got to the apartment.

Xander blinked and considered this. "I'd imagine our lives will be something like a Salvador Dali painting in motion."

"No?" she looked confused "Would that be a good life?"

"I think so," Xander said. "It certainly wouldn't be boring.

"So, umm ... much as I hate to spoil the moment ... weren't we supposed to go kill somebody?"

"Xander, would you-"

She stopped in mid-sentence when he mentioned they were supposed to be killing someone.

"Do you need to sleep, or can we go now?"

"Ready when you are." He was already putting on his pants.

She leaned over to kiss him once more before she started hunting around for her clothes.

"So, where is this guy, anyway? Do you have a starting point at least?"

"I think I know how to find his exact location." she said "We have the element of surprise."

Janie paused for a moment. "Where did you throw my bra?"

Xander looked around, pointed to the plant in the corner. "Got more range than I expected to ... "

"That, you do." Janie smiled and went to finish retrieving her clothing. "Need food or anything? I don't know why I'm stalling. I shouldn't be."

"I'm ready," Xander said. He had one shoe on, so he was nearly right. "Shouldn't I be the one stalling? Telling you you absolutely have to see the Indiana Jones movies before we go or something?"

She stood in the middle of the floor for a few seconds.

"Put your shoe on, and we'll go."

His shoe firmly in place, Xander stood up. He put his hand on the pistol at his hip.

"Let's do this."
