Ian: She's crazy about him, and some part of her still can't believe that she managed to fall in love with someone who loves her back. He's pretty much her world, and will do anything to make him happy. She trusts him 99.9%, which is more than anyone else.
She's afraid that something will happen and she would lose him forever. He's the first person that made her feel like she belonged somewhere, that gave her a sense of home. After the recent incident, she's even more afraid that something will happen, which is why she's been a little clingy.
Any faults, she's telling herself are okay and not permanent. When they fight, and he takes morphine she will get angry with him, but that never lasts for long.
Snake: Janie's drawn to people like Snake and sees him as a potential friend. She doesn't want to get too close because she's still afraid someone will try to hurt her friends. I don't think she always believes his stories, but she does listen. (She's not familiar with his canon yet!)
