The screams visibly affected Janie. She turned the comm on, to communicate with all of the remaining team members at once. Two were with her and the other two were on their way back.
She was fairly certain they wouldn't make it.
"Juni, I'm sorry I was short with you earlier. Windor, Veda, Ashi... All four of you are exemplary agents. I'm fairly sure we won't make it out of here. Teleport out of here if you can, while you have the chance."
Janie wouldn't leave her post, not until she was able to recover the bodies or confirm the absence of them.
