verse changes

a_time_slipI do this far too much, but my brain can only handle three for this character.
Major characters in all verses-
Janie: A woman who is always in the wrong place at the right time (or is it the wrong time at the wrong time?) She travels through time and space without the aid of a machine, and can't really tell anyone how old she is.
Phoenix: More than a friend, or best friend, he's someone that exists through all time and verses for her. Their relationships range from casual acquaintances to lovers to enemies, but they always cross paths.
Lynn: Eunice Lynn Taylor, daughter of Janie. Her existence is always unexplained, usually appearing in her mother's life around five or ten years of age, and her name is always the same. She almost always has a link to both Phoenix and Janie.
Summertime - Janie, running away from her family, ended up in Los Angeles instead of New York. While there she met Xander Harris, and started a relationship. She disappeared for several months, then returned to him and the relationship was rekindled. Once more she disappeared, this time it was for ten years. She returned and lived a happy life with him after they defeated her family.
The first time she disappeared, she met Phoenix, who spent several months trying to rescue her from her family. It was successful though she was 'lost' in time when she escaped. The second time she disappeared, Janie ended up in a military on another planet, and dating an abusive supervisor. She barely managed to escape him and ended up with Lynn.
Ten years of unexplained time later, Janie limped back into Xander's life and the two of them lived in happiness for many years. Centuries after his death, she ended up where she is now, living the time period once more.
She's dating someone new
Beast/Fractured - Janie ran away from her family at a young age, and lived alone for three years in a tiny rented room. She worked in a grocery store 18 hours a day/seven days a week and most of her pay went to rent and food. At the beginning of the fourth year she began to have strange dreams, about a little girl.
Continuing to work for little pay, she said nothing about the dreams, and spent her time between her tiny room and the grocery store, until one day, her family caught up with her. They attacked, leaving what should have been a dead body in a dumpster. The dream girl got the woman out, and the two started a life as mother and daughter. Janie got in a relationship with an abusive man that ended up working for her family, only discovering the connection when they tried to kill her while she was pregnant.
Eunice Lynn, the little girl, saved her Mother's life, but was unable to save the life of the unborn child. Janie grew angry, and started to hunt down everyone that she could, killing them mercilessly until all that was left was her and Eunice Lynn. Trusting the care of her child to a trusted neighbor, Janie set off a bomb in the small home she lived in and waited for death to come.
It never did. The building lay in rubble all around her, a tiny brown hand sticking from under it. Her daughter followed her, and now was lost. Janie was alone in the world, and killed the one person that made life bearable.
The time traveller took off and refused to look back as she went into a life of alcohol, drugs, meaningless sex, and using her time travel ability to get whatever she wanted. That was, until she ran into [info]ashes_ascended and tried to steal from him.
Recently, she's discovered that her daughter [info]lynnagain never actually died. Eunice Lynn is still protective of her mother, but so very angry about being left for dead. Janie endures abuse from her child because of the guilt that eats her alive, but at the same time tries to break free from the past that has left her almost completely broken.
Recently, she's discovered that she can kill demons. It takes almost all of her energy, but she's able to turn them into nothing but dust. Janie is now dating a demon/vampire hybrid, Julian Steele, and trying to keep her relationships with Morgan, Phoenix and Aden.
In Fractured, she is an OC timelord who was completely destroyed in the war. The only reason she survived is because her memories and time lord powers were scrambled into something unrecognizable. She still hasn't unraveled it all.
Dream - Janie ran from her family, ending up in New York city, where she met Ian Malcolm and eventually married him. Ian and Phoenix saved her life in a parking lot one night, and both were very important in her life. That was, until the universe split.
Now, Janie has memories of a past she was sure didn't happen. Of a love, and a family that don't exist and she isn't sure what to do with the memories. Phoenix is still her best friend but Ian is lost to her because of the universe split. She gets lucky at times, and gets to see him, but never can go back to the life she once knew.
At some point, she disappears and ends up in the Florida Keys, not far from a childhood home, where she makes money any way that she can. This leads to her getting a job at the home of Tristan and Aden.
Whats different: Other than the obvious 'verse mashing, Janie never actually did terrible things in any verse but Beast. The different realities bleed together for her quite often, enough that she may seem a little crazy at times. I got rid of the baby she had in pussycat verse (though she remembers the entire situation!), and this verse mashing IS all plot relevant.
