Drabble 45 - Sunrise

Beautiful strokes of peach and red and gold rise slowly from the horizon, illuminating the landscape and announcing that another new day has begun. The painted skyscape almost reminds her of sherbert, with tastes of citrus, berry, tangy and- Pangia. The name came to her just as a bit of blue peeked through.

As the colors continued to fade into white and blue, the memories of a night spent dancing in the arms of her true love go through her mind at a blazing fast speed, and by time the sun rays warmed the land she felt cold and alone.
