a_time_slipMost people who saw the Rift Raft thought it was an eyesore. A yellow cabin cruiser from sometime in the 70's did not belong parked in a driveway, or parking lot, or any of the various spots of land she parked her boat.
But no one really cared. They'd look, then move on.
A select few who passed the locked cabin door would see the impossible interior of the boat. The 21 foot hull contained a two story apartment, where Janie preferred to live. There was plenty of space for guests, for friends, for parties, but most days it sat empty.
