Forced Move
Mar. 29th, 2012 07:03 amWhen Janie was first arrested, the handcuffs and cops were for show. She needed to be made an example of to all of the newcomers to the City, newcomers that didn't know the rules. The trial was semi private, them writing her off as a terrorist with a different name.
Something she learned during that process, is that you never actually saw 'The Council'. She couldn't look at this group of people that decided her fate.
For a month after her release, she tried not to think about them. That was the lost month that was spent in bed and staring out of windows. Then, one morning, she opened her eyes and happened to be standing behind a glass podium in the center of a white, circular room. Rows of empty white chairs sat on the glass floor, all facing towards her.
( Still Considered a Threat )
