Yes, this is only news if I haven't told you.

Why can't I go back, and make my life perfect? Isn't that the way it should work? I could happily be a physics professor in a small town in the middle of nowhere.

Would it even be possible? I mean ... all I know about paradoxes is from movies and books, but this sounds like one to me.

It would be one, and I've already had to learn my lesson about things like that. I'm not sure why it's crossing my mind.

Well ... it might not make things easier, but we can always try to make this life we're stuck with a little better. Travel somewhere, escape everything for a while.
